Long Time

How bad of a blogger am I? Blogger has completely changed and I never even knew it. It has been so long I had to go look up my FTP password because my computer didn't even remember it!

I have also been an absent knitter. This pregnancy has really made me unable to knit. I miss it, I do. I just seem to get dizzy or unmotivated to finish projects that I start. I thought finding out that we're having a BOY would bring the knit back in me. No. Such. Luck.

But back to having a boy. We're super excited since we have a little girl. I am happy for my husband because having a girl has been such a joy to me, I can only imagine what having a boy will show him about himself. We have narrowed down the name to two. I'd share them but found when I shared my daughter's name, we got opinions that were not so favorable which almost clouded my opinion about her name. Looking back I realize how personal names can be since we associate names with people we know that have had those names. Now, I just want to have the baby and have his name be his name so that people will be kind enough not to comment given it is already his name.

I did find some time to knit the sweater and hat. I have no idea why I did it because he is due at the end of April so he won't very well be needing a sweater and hat! But I couldn't resist! I've also been busy decorating his room. We're going with a Yellowstone theme so lots of bears, moose, and fish.

I'll keep this short and make sure to start being a better blogger. Thanks to those who've checked up on me! I won't be as absent, I promise. I just ordered some yarn from KnitPicks so stay tuned.
