Just One More Reason to Love Christmas

Iwas navigating through the grocery store when what to my wondering eyes should appear but a miniature display featuring Celestial Seasonings Christmas-time holiday teas--on sale no less! I did a little "oh yes, oh yes" dance that my baby found amusing. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Candy Cane Lane, Nutcracker Sweet, and Sugar Plum Spice but this year I see there are two new teas--Sugar Cookie Sleigh Ride and Gingerbread Spice. Could the day get any better?

MiniMe loves to have tea parties. We have a special tea set. Sometimes we have tea and sometimes we drink hot chocolate. There is something so girly and fun about tea parties. We toast. We talk in funny voices or take on British accents. MiniMe loves to dip her Teddy Grahams into the tea and say, "Oh my this is delightful!"

It reminds me of a favorite childhood rhyme:

Animal crackers and cocoa to drink,
That is the finest of suppers I think;
When I'm grown up and can have what I please,
I think I shall always insist upon these.

The Infrequent Blogger

How was your Thanksgiving? Ours was really sweet. But now back to the hustle and bustle of getting ready for Christmas. Every Christmas song that comes on the radio MiniMe asks me if it is Santa singing. She's going to be a lot of fun this year.

Isn't this a cute knitting bag? It is perfect for travel. I used it recently and it not only held my knitting but much more. The clear yarn tube can hold many balls of yarn and also allows you to run a strand through the top while you're knitting. Michael's has the whole KnitPickers line in stock now. Very cute.

I'm knitting the very last bag of my new designs now. I'm so close to being done. I never want to knit another felted bag again. I'm not kidding. Very soon now I'll have much more to talk about. Thanks for continuing to visit my blog. I've been so absent.

Not only have I not blogged, but I haven't kept up with my favorite blogs. I miss reading Tato's adventures in Lip Gloss and Cheerios. And I know Cara is pregnant but have no idea how she's progressing. And I've been thinking about Carole and hoping she doing well this first Thanksgiving. I'll catch up soon. On wonderfully creative blog I discovered most recently is HELLOmynameisHeather. I hope to be back to regular blogging very soon. Please continue to visit!
